The Adventist Church Manual recommends that the membership records be kept up to date. ACMS can facilitate the task of finding missing members. By clicking on the Missing section of Members, Church clerks can publish missing members on a special list by
1) clicking New Publication
2) typing the Member’s name and clicking Search Member
3) Selecting the name of the missing member and clicking Add
Adding members to the “Missing” list will change their status from Active to Not Active. Notes can then be added to the various members, by other church clerks, with the goal of finding the respective member. When missing members are found, they can be transferred into regular membership through the normal processes.
